The bag I made for myself!
I made this bag yesterday. I wanted a new purse and, before I would have just gone scouring on Etsy, but now that I know how to sew, I made exactly what I wanted for myself. The body and strap are constructed of a vintage feed sack. I cut a rectangle out of the middle of each part of the front and back and sewed in a burlap panel. The two pockets on the front are made from vintage bags. The lining is a white with a light blue vintage pattern and contains one zipper pocket and a key clip on the side (you can’t see that in these photos). The top is closed with a zipper and I used one of my friend Dean’s handmade glass beads as a zipper pull. I’m so happy with how it turned out!
